Let’s take a look at the course and see if it really lives up to the hype in this Extreme Fat Loss Diet review.

I first heard about the this program while I was searching around on the Internet for a real diet plan. I wouldn’t call myself overweight (hah – who would) and I wanted to see a diet plan that showed me what to eat to lose weight. But I really didn’t know where to start with dieting or exercise so I figured I would look into this course.

Right when I heard about the course I was a bit skeptical because it claimed to be the fastest way to lose weight. That seems to be said a lot with courses like this, but I kept researching this course because of something I immediately saw right after.

The author, Joel Marion, may actually know what he is talking about. Here are a couple reasons why I think this. For one, he looks like he is in very good shape. Second, he is one of the top physical trainers. And third, he is on both the Men’s Fitness Training Advisory Team and Lifescript.com Women’s Fitness Expert Panel. So this guy looks like he might just be an expert at physical fitness and not just some average Joe.

Ok, moving on with my research. I now started looking at the information about the course. I found some good facts about weight loss and some things that I have never thought of. Joel Marion makes a good point that you cannot lose weight without creating a massive calorie deficit. But then he brings up that you can’t create a calorie deficit without your body think that it is starving, which he says will limit fat loss.

Based on what Joel says, if you reduce how much you are eating, you body will hold on to fat and limit the amount of weight that you lose. In my own words that means that just eating less will not help me lose weight. That doesn’t sound promising, but let’s see what Joel says if we keep researching.

Ok, now I found some information where Joel sort of reveals what this course is all about. This information seems to be broken into different stages and they go like this:

  • Cheat days – He says that these days are used to purposely stop your diet and offset your body’s natural tendency to limit weight loss. That kind of makes sense. Going back to what he said before about your body limiting weight loss when you eat less, this might counter that effect.
  • Work outs on the right days – Joel talks a little bit about how working out on certain days can make you lose more weight and build more muscle than other days. I can believe that, but I can’t find any information one which days.
  • Nutrient timing – Next, he talks about how “timing” this will put your body in the state you want it in.

That wasn’t all that I found, but it was the most important information. I personally think that this course looks good because of how effective the system looks. It is based on changing the way you body burns fat and reworking your diet without having to eat like a rabbit.

I also like the fact that there are “cheat days” where I can go back to eating fattening foods. I initially didn’t think about this until I read about it in his course. I have tried some other diets and I really got sick of eating salads and bland foods all day for months. This program looks different because it lets you cheat, but it does so with purpose.

All in all, I’d say that the it looks like it is a good fit for me. Joel Marion definitely knows what he is talking about and the program is really solid and proven to work based on my research. I can see no risk involved in me getting this course, just as long as I actually do it.

    Hey Trent, I got it and I’m not sure if it would work for you. My advice is to give it a shot and at least try it. I’m doing what it recommends right now and have been for about a week. I haven’t lost much weight yet, but I feel a lot better than I did a month ago. I actually go out walking now and I’m eating a lot better too. I can’t wait to see what I will be like in a month or two.
